My office is located at 546 Valley Road, Suite 106 in the heart of Upper Montclair, along the Valley Road business corridor near the Upper Montclair train station, making it easy for local residents and commuters to visit us. I opened Tommy Woods State Farm because I wanted to build a business centered on relationships, customer confidence, and helping people protect what they have worked hard to build. For me, this work has always been about more than policies. I enjoy helping individuals, families, and business owners understand their options, identify potential gaps in protection, and prepare for important financial milestones throughout life.

As a State Farm agent for the past two years and a FINRA-licensed Expenditure Representative, I have the opportunity to help customers look at the bigger picture. Earlier in my life, I coached baseball, football, and basketball for youth teams. Today, I continue supporting youth athletics through donations and sponsorships because I believe in creating opportunities for young people. I currently serve on the Board of Directors for the Montclair Police Athletic League and the Board of the Upper Montclair Business Association. I am also proud to support organizations throughout Montclair, including Montclair Pride, the Montclair African American Foundation, the Montclair Public Library Foundation, and our local Police and Fire Departments. As our business grows, I am grateful for the opportunity to continue helping in the community that supports us.

Professional growth and continuous improvement are also values that guide the way I serve customers. In addition to my insurance and financial services credentials, I am a Certified Six Sigma Green Belt and have completed Kaizen training. These experiences have strengthened my focus on efficiency, problem-solving, and creating a consistent customer experience while helping individuals, families, and business owners make confident decisions about their future.

Family remains at the center of everything I do. My wife is a school principal who shares my commitment to helping others and making a positive impact in the community. We are incredibly proud of our children, who have grown into successful adults pursuing their own goals and careers. Being part of a large, close-knit family has reinforced my belief in the importance of relationships, creating meaningful memories, preparing for the future, and leaving a lasting legacy for the next generation. Those same values influence how I approach every customer relationship.

Outside of the office, I enjoy cooking and bringing family and friends together around a great meal. I also enjoy attending sporting events and concerts, staying active through workouts and pickleball, and traveling with my wife to experience new places, cultures, and restaurants. Many of my favorite activities share a common theme: connecting with people, creating meaningful experiences, and making the most of life's opportunities.
